Skills Warehouse ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

We keep it simple: we collect only what we need to operate the service, we don't sell your data, and we don't share it with third parties except as described in this policy.

Information We Collect

We do not collect payment card details directly. When payments launch, card processing will be handled by Stripe — see Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.

How We Use Your Information

• To send you early access notifications and product launch updates
• To personalise your onboarding experience based on your stated role
• To protect the platform against abuse, spam, and security threats
• To contact you about your account when you become a registered user

We will not use your email address to send you third-party promotional material, sell it to advertisers, or share it with any party other than those listed in this policy.

Third-Party Services

We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the platform:

• Stripe — payment processing when marketplace launches. Stripe has its own privacy policy and PCI-compliant handling.
• Email delivery provider— to deliver transactional emails (early access, account notifications). Your email address is shared only to deliver messages you've requested.

We do not use advertising networks, social tracking pixels, or data brokers.

Cookies

We use minimal session cookies only — the kind required to keep you logged in when the authenticated platform launches. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies. There is no cookie consent banner because there is nothing to consent to beyond basic functionality.

Your Rights (Australian Privacy Act)

Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate or outdated information
• Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time (unsubscribe link in every email)

Data Retention

We retain waitlist data until you unsubscribe or request deletion. If you become a registered user, we retain account data for the duration of your account plus any period required by applicable law (for example, financial records for tax purposes).

Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Disputes arising from this policy will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
