Terms of Service

1. Overview

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Skills Warehouse ("the Platform"), operated by Skills Warehouse ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@skillswarehouse.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, including but not limited to accounts used for spam, fraudulent transactions, or distribution of malicious skills.

4. Intellectual Property

Your skills are yours. You retain all intellectual property rights in the skills and content you create and upload. We do not claim ownership of creator content.

By listing a skill on Skills Warehouse, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to:

• Host and display the skill in the marketplace catalogue
• Index and search the skill content for discovery
• Show previews and descriptions to potential buyers
• Promote the skill in Platform marketing (with your name as creator)

This licence ends when you remove your skill from the marketplace. Existing purchases remain valid after removal — buyers who have already purchased retain their licence.

Skills Warehouse owns the Platform, its design, code, standards, and documentation. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or build competing services directly from our proprietary content without written permission.

5. Creator Obligations

If you list skills as a creator, you represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the right to distribute the skill content
• The skill does not contain malicious code, prompt injections, or intentionally destructive instructions
• The skill description accurately describes what the skill does
• You will maintain and update the skill to keep it functional and secure

We reserve the right to remove skills that fail our security scan, receive verified complaints, or are found to be misrepresented.

6. Liability and Warranty Disclaimer

Skills Warehouse provides the Platform and marketplace "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• Any skill will execute correctly in your environment
• Any skill is free from bugs, errors, or security vulnerabilities
• The Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Skills Warehouse's total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Platform is limited to the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100 AUD, whichever is greater.

User responsibility: You are responsible for testing any skill before deploying it in a production environment. You are responsible for the consequences of executing skills in your systems.

7. Prohibited Use

You may not use the Platform to:

• Distribute malicious code, ransomware, or skills designed to cause harm
• Infringe the intellectual property rights of others
• Engage in fraudulent transactions or impersonate other users
• Circumvent our security scanning process
• Use automated scraping to extract the skill catalogue for competitive purposes

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email when material changes are made. Continued use of the Platform after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.
